Stock

In addition to the original stock, in 2004 the lake was stocked with 180 common, mirror and leather carp. There is an impressive head of 40lb plus fish and an excellent proportion of carp are over 30lbs. At the start of the 2022  season a new lake record was set at 61lb4ozs common.  A stocking system has gone on over the years and last year a further 40 carp were stocked.

Carp stock: Stocked with 180 mirror, leather & common carp to over 60lb, & grass carp to 49lb. Other Fish: a full range of coarse fish.
